Pressure Transducers

Seresco dehumidifiers are equipped with multiple pressure transducers and more than a dozen temperature sensors. The pressure transducers monitor the compressor suction line and discharge line. If the CommandCenter® electronic control system reads a pressure outside of the normal operating high and low pressure ranges then the compressor will be shut off. This is used as a second safety mechanism to compliment the high and low pressure switches and ensure long compressor operating life.

Factory installed pressure transducers eliminate the need for a service mechanic to install temporary pressure gauges, which are inherently less accurate. This simplifies troubleshooting and eliminates
the loss of refrigerant that occurs when using a manual pressure gauge.
