VFD's

Variable frequency drives are standard in Seresco dehumidifiers over 16 tons.

A variable frequency drive (VFD) is a system for controlling the rotational speed of an alternating current (AC) electric motor by controlling the frequency of the electrical power supplied to the motor.

Variable-frequency allows very precise adjustment of the airflow to exactly meet the customer requirements.  The airflow is adjusted simply through the VFD control panel.  Coupled with the standard direct drive system, air balancers are not required to fuss with belts and sheaves.
